Why take life too seriously?! There are things that happen every day that make me smile. Sometimes it's a question or story from my son. Sometimes it's a quirky thing heard over the cubicle wall. Many times it's dysfunctional things we say or do at family gatherings. Life happens. Let's enjoy it!

Post-Mardi Gross
Hubby texted me this photo today during his cab ride to the airport in New Orleans. I hope it was a quick ride. Ewww.
Sometimes no blog words are needed when a picture can do the same.
The sign had to be prompted by previous bodily malfunctions, you know? Just imagine the inside of cabs during Mardi Gras and, well, frankly, anytime anyone is leaving Bourbon Street. Jim says it's pretty insane.
Not that he checked it out.
Honestly. Not this trip but on a previous one he did and, even as a word-smith himself, struggled to describe the debauchery.
So nice to have him home! Not that I need to keep an eye on him. But I don't need him picking up any more germs from taxi cabs... Or airplanes... Or anywhere but Wisconsin, where it's too cold for germs to live!
