Why take life too seriously?! There are things that happen every day that make me smile. Sometimes it's a question or story from my son. Sometimes it's a quirky thing heard over the cubicle wall. Many times it's dysfunctional things we say or do at family gatherings. Life happens. Let's enjoy it!

Royal Response
After losing to Abbotsbord by a mere 3-pointer last week, our Royal men headed up to Abby tonight to respond with a vengeance. At least with some focus and attitude.
We rode up to the game with our neighbors whose son is one of our 4 seniors on the team. This game is considered the Marawood Conference Crossover Game where a team in the north (the Falcons) plays the equivalent team in the south (the Royals). It is the last regular-season game before Regional playoffs begin next week.
When we got there, the JV team was winning by quite a significant margin. I believe they finished with a 30-point lead or so. We thought, wouldn't it be nice if Varsity could do the same? Or really, just win this time – even if it's just by 3 points?
Our guys played well. Shots were more accurate and defense more intense than I saw against this same just last week. And it paid off!
Congrats for a great finish, boys! Now onto Playoffs! Pretty sure they picked the right time to kick start a winning momentum.
Go Royals!
