Why take life too seriously?! There are things that happen every day that make me smile. Sometimes it's a question or story from my son. Sometimes it's a quirky thing heard over the cubicle wall. Many times it's dysfunctional things we say or do at family gatherings. Life happens. Let's enjoy it!

Sunset Years
If you have family or loved ones in their "sunset years," it's always a good priority to call or visit them regularly. You can't take their presence for granted.
When we realized we hadn't seen them since March, hubby and I traveled up to Marshfield tonight to visit his uncle and aunt, who are 85 and 92, respectively. Though still fit and feisty as always, they admittedly are slowing down. (Even though they spent the day canning gallons of strawberries!)
Their chief complaints these days are running to appointments, keeping up with all the flowers they planted – and figuring out their Netflix account.
Yup. Pretty "with it" for octogenarians-plus.
And based on the sweet sunset we witnessed on the way home, we were reminded the sunset years can be a beautiful thing.
