So this really happened with the very unsurprising first pick of the NFL draft. I mean the part about Joe as the No. 1 pick. Not sure if the nickname will be forthcoming.
I had intentions of watching the first round. But then it was really weird seeing everyone in their own living rooms and basement war rooms. Plus I needed to finish the Little Fires Everywhere series on Hulu. (Really good.) Now the Vikings still haven't had their first pick yet. That will be my cue for bedtime.
I have no high hopes of a miracle pick. As they've said for probably the last 35 years, "This is a rebuilding year." Haha. Not funny when you're a Viking fan.
But hey, it's a LIVE sports "event" so let's enjoy it!
