There Snow Way

Woke up to this today and it was like there's no way (or snow way) we are letting this impact our plans to escape Wisconsin!

We did get lucky and the roads were pretty decent by the time we left midafternoon. At that point, the only thing stopping us -- or trying to -- was Princess Poops-a-Lot, who did everything in her power to keep her human home.

What a relief it must it must have been when she realized Carter and I were the ones taking off with those evil black suitcases! 

We got to the airport in Minneapolis with plenty of time to spare. We were so anxious to board the plane when we knew it was 88 degrees in Phoenix compared to our below-freezing departure temp! 

So nice it was still 77 when we landed. Ahh. This will be awesome.  Just need to get some sleep so we can see that desert sun in a few hours.
