The Greatest Show

It was fitting that I was listening to The Greatest Showman soundtrack on the way home from work tonight. As I was snapping this picture quick, the lyrics blaring from the speakers were "This is the greatest show!"

And I thought. It is! It really is the greatest show.

Nothing beats a beautiful sunrise or sunset. No two are the same and everyone has a slightly different view. God sure has nice handiwork. And here I was just happy the sun was shining today! The colorful commute this morning and tonight were bonuses.

This evening at our church council meeting we had a devotion and shared different ways we've seen God work in our lives in the past month. I should have just showed them this picture! There were some great examples of healing, good news, and answered prayers. For me, if I go to bed with my head on straight, that's a miracle in itself. And I do take time to thank God for that.

Tonight I'll thank Him for putting on the greatest show... again. And ask Him to do the same for you this week. Give yourself a timeout. Stop the baking, shopping, working, wrapping, stressing, and look around you. Where is He showing Himself?

Take a moment to enjoy the view. It's a gift to you. With truly the greatest show coming up on Christmas!
