After a long week of work, it seemed only appropriate we celebrate our TGIF with pizza on National Pizza Day.
It just happened to work conveniently after work that when we got done visiting my father-in-law, we could order a take-and-bake pizza from Papa Murphy's on the way home.
Two things: Yes, pineapple does belong on pizza. (M-m-m, Hawaiian Pizza!) And yes, our new oven is magical when it comes to baking one!
I'm seriously happy about that second part. Our "old" oven used to take about 20 minutes to preheat. The new one is 10 or less. And knowing it has the accurate heat and distributes it nicely is a bonus. Also very nerdy sounding.
It hit the spot though.
And we were proud participants in a national (albeit fake) holiday!
