Carter is adjusting well to his new school and classmates. Monday things will change again when soccer starts after school! He'll figure out what's going on by Halloween, I'm sure.
It has been a pretty good racing recovery week for our nephew Colin, too. Thanks to a lot of man hours and help and new parts and old parts and duct tape, his super stock race car was ready for racing tonight.
He ended up finishing third in the heat and then second in the feature. It was a great race! He also extended his points lead so he just has to hang on for one more week and he has a track championship. Keep your fingers crossed!
Finally, it was a good week because sometimes surprises crop up when -- and where -- you least expect them. All I had to do was crop off the bottom of the sign and it's a like a dream come true...
Now who can top that?!
