Sun, Sun, Sunday

According to the Weather Channel, it was about 80 degrees at 8 a.m. I'm not complaining!

Had a decent first night's sleep and missed our first sunrise in Florida. I'm guessing we'll see one yet! We've got time.

Was nice to relax today like true vacationers! Our goal for the day was to stock up on groceries for the week so we aren't spending an arm and a leg (albeit a very tanned arm and leg) on food. So we hitched a ride to the local grocery store.

Instead of a standard taxi, though, they have the option of trolleys for transportation. They don't run on a railway track. They have wheels but they are old trolley cars! It was pretty cool! And only 50 cents a person to ride.

Thankfully, they are big and roomy, too, because when we got done shopping, all 6 of us were carrying as many bags as we could handle. The price we pay for paying less prices. (Well worth it.)

After lunch, we had a lot of beach time. Mostly water time because it is just so darn nice. But I think I may be getting a tan line. Whoot!

Tonight we're taking it easy -- as we should. Hubby and I might be taking a walk along the boardwalk in a little bit. I say "might" because we don't want to make too many plans. We gotta fly by the seat of our sunny short pants!
