Wednesday White-Out

At some point this afternoon at work, we realized the snowflakes were falling. And really flying.  I didn't know that and I would've even looked out until I heard from sisters in northern Wisconsin and Minnesota dealing with white-out conditions.

Uff-da.

At least in Central Wisconsin, our temps remained just shy of below freezing. So while I had the blowing snow on the way to work, I only had intermittent bouts of slippery-ness. I hate that, by the way!!

When Jim was out and about early in the afternoon, he saw a few cars in the ditch. On my commute home, I saw flashing lights in the last leg and was glad it wasn't me.

Somehow, we both made it tonight to (and from) our very important choir practices – at different churches – and home again. You can't mess around with pre-Christmas rehearsals no matter what the weather is!

Just gotta say that no matter what schedule our churches have or the windy weather we have, we can start counting down to Christmas with no shame.

In fact, there's probably a few chocolate Advent calendars for sale somewhere. There's always a chance to catch up! 😜
