Three on the Tree

In Gearhead Land, three on the tree means the shifting stick is on the steering column. In Drought-to-Drenched Land, it means our trees enjoyed three much-needed inches of rain overnight.

According to our rain gauge, we fell right between the amounts reported around us. And then it continued off and on all day.

I used it as my excuse to stay indoors. Part of that was coffee with a friend after church. Awesome. Another part of that was much-needed organizing and cleaning in my home office. Meh. A small part was getting some work done before I travel out of the office the next two days. And still another part was watching some of the latest season of Virgin River. 

And there's still time to rest on this day of rest. 

Just needed that. That's all.
