Fake Madness

 

Me. This is me. I am the "I don't watch basketball much" person in the office. Well one of many. So I always think there's a chance I could win the NCAA pool with my mostly #1 picks combined with random upsets.

Just doesn't work. My bracket was busted to splinters last week.

So do I watch the championship game tonight since it will be close and Michigan and UConn are obviously the best teams at the moment? Uhm, probably not. I'll admit my enthusiasm was more for winning the bracket than for college basketball itself.

I'm a fake.

But if I won our pool, of course I'd take the office traveling trophy and bragging rights and run with it.

Hubby still has a chance for a good return on his investment. So I'll let him watch and I'll catch up on The Voice another night. Now there's no fake passion there!
