Rain is Good Luck or Something

If rain on your wedding day is considered good luck, how about on your anniversary? Wouldn't that be luck multiplied by 17 – at least in our case? I think so.

With plenty of color on the radar, our options for a romantic evening were limited. Couldn't golf or kayak or even take dinner to the park. So we did what any good Wisconsin couple would do: Headed to the saloon.

While we may not agree on everything we certainly agree that nothing tops a good ol' Wisconsin bar burger for supper. Went to Jennings downtown where I had my favorite Pineapple Express Burger and Mr. Best Thing That Ever Happened To Me had some Tex-Mex Burger or something like that. We were both satisfied and full! No room for King Cone on the way home. No joke.

Guess we'll have to wait for the next special event for that. In our house that may or may not be in 2 days when someone other than me has a birthday in this house. Just like in a happy marriage, everybody wins!
