Fair-Weather Fotog

The term "huddle up" means a lot things. It could mean the sports team is prepping for a game or an inning, or it could be the fans and photographers have to huddle for warmth on a sunny, yet only 42-degree afternoon at the ball park.

Honestly, this fair-weather "fotographer" only stopped by because she knew a player on the opposing team. When I learned he wasn't playing for Pacelli this year, I still stuck around since the sun was peeking out. It was cold. I was cold. And my camera was cold. But I still gave it an inning.

Hours (it feels) after I left, I learned our boys pulled out the victory. In the dark (I can say with an excuse). Yay for them.

I hope Mother Nature can finally look at the calendar and see it's officially spring and that we shouldn't have winter temperatures.

Since I have a ton of travel in the next 14 days, I won't be able to capture much in the way of spring sports. In other words, Mother Nature, I am giving you this one last chance to turn things around.

Don't mess with a Scandi-hoovian!
