Historical Notes

The sun is almost setting on our Nashville weekend! Boo-hoo. Still have Monday, though.

Both yesterday and today were filled with tons of musical notes and some history, too.

Saturday was a lot of time on Nashville's Broadway Street, checking out different bands at different establishments. So fun.

The day culminated with hubby and I seeing a show at the Grand Ole Opry. Far exceeded our expectations!

Today on Palm Sunday, Jim and a few went to a Catholic church and the rest of us went to Cowboy Church within walking distance of our hotel. Quite a unique experience.

This afternoon. Jim and I went to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. So much interesting history and neat artifacts.

Tonight our group spent time at the Music City bar (pictured above) listening and dancing to a great country band. Again,  within walking distance from the hotel.

There are so many fun pictures and details to share. But I wanted to blog now so I'd remember what we squeezed into the first 2 days!

More to come, ya'll!
