I've put on a lot of miles since I left work at noon Thursday -- which suddenly feels like days ago.
I headed down to Carter and Mamie's in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. While 3 R sisters came down the Minnesota side. It was nice to see their place and deliver their Easter basket.
We all enjoyed a tasty meal at the nearby Granite City Food and Brewery.
I slept at the kids' place and 4 of us R sisters hit the road and headed south to St. Louis. With a few stops along the way.
Some neat things. I'll share more pix next week when I'm not typing this on my phone
We also stopped in Hannibal, Missouri, tos see Mark Twain's boy hood home and other cool things.
Everywhere, of course, was green and blooming.
Got to St. Louis after 5 p.m. Checked into our VRBO then headed over to our cousin Karen (and Eddie's) for dinner. And our cousin Diane joined us. Such good food, great conversation and laughs! So great to see family.
It's very late now and we're not setting alarms. Mainly because rain is forecast the next 2 days so there's no rush to get up!
Looking forward to more family time, rain or shine!
