Music City Miracle

If you knew how much a certain group of 20 people liked to talk, you too would call pulling of a birthday surprise a MIRACLE. And to include 90% of us having to secretly get to Nashville to do it.

Since our friend Sara doesn't technically turn 50 until the 18th, we did have that slight element of surprise in our favor, too.

As far as she knew, her hubby and sister- and brother-in-law were the only ones driving to Nashville to visit their niece for the weekend.

Meanwhile, 7 others were road-tripping and 9 of us were on the direct flight from Appleton to Nashville this afternoon. We all went to their niece's condo building and waited for their arrival. 

Was she surprised?

Pretty sure this tells you the answer! So awesome. And this was when she saw all of us grown-ups. After giving us all hugs, her kids popped out and gave her a second surprise. 

That's when the water works started.  From all of us. But tears of joy!
