Shutter Speed

Hubby says my new camera is causing me to lose sleep. I take so many pictures, I stay up late going through them all. Yes, if you take over 300 at 3 softball games, that can happen!

So today I slowed my shutter speed. Tested out a new effect setting that allows me to shoot one color and the rest of the photo is black and white.

You like? This is at the neighbors across the street. I just HAD to test it out. I will try not to overuse it, but how cool!! Normally I have use Photoshop and layers to get that effect. So yes, I'm happy with my little shooting session.

Of course, I also took pictures of their dog – my furry boyfriend Buddy. He was not 100% cooperative but did fine letting me test out one of my lenses.

He's a cutie paw-tooty, isn't he? Love him! Of course, he preferred I just rub his belly. Typical guy. Good thing he's handsome!

Other highlights of the day were a Sweet 16 party for our friend's daughter Allie. And an evening walk around the lake with my non-furry boyfriend Jim. I have to go now so I can rub his belly. Good thing he's handsome!
