Horsin' Around

As I continue to test out my new camera – why don't I just say PLAY with my new camera – I moved onto something that might move a little faster than ball players: horses. I had the privilege of seeing my friend Colleen's daughter Elsa in action tonight.

At first I thought both Elsa and Camden, her little brother, were both going to ride, but toddlers can be moody. So it was the 7-year-old show queen and her horse Lena showing me what they can do.

Love this one of Elsa putting her stirrups on. She's just a little girl!

Also did that artsy, one-color thing I said I wouldn't over-use. But how can you resist a pink shirt?

I also shot a variety of action shots. I might have to catch her doing an actual show or competition.

 Whoa!

No worries!

I still have some 100 photos to go through tonight. I'm sure I'll find a few her mom will enjoy.
