In honor of International Women's Day – which is every day, isn't it? – here is today's public service message:

Fasten your straps and your seat belts. It's pothole season! You'll avoid back injuries and potential black eyes if things get outta hand.

And you thought this was going to be a sappy blog about all the special women in my life who've inspired me and loved me for who I am. 

OK, there are a lot of them. And I hope they're all buckling up for pothole season!
