Dinner with Friends

Nothing brings good sophomoric humor to a blog like the dung beetle. Agree or no?

We did have dinner with friends tonight and it was really some good ... stuff!

Got together with Gregg and Lori at a place called Freddie's. Gregg and Jim graduated from high school together. And yes, while we do live in the same town, we don't take advantage of that often enough! Does that ever happen to you? You take close-distance relationships for granted?

Happens with a lot of friends, I believe.

So tonight we had some good food, good fun, good times. Got to catch up on lives, our children and their grandchildren. Plus travel talk as they have been everywhere and Lori has been in the travel business. And we, well, we are counting down days!

It was great to relax. Forget about stressors and all the bad... stuff.

Note to self: Take time to enjoy dinner with friends.
