The Year Summerfest Saved Christmas

Did you know that there was a sequel to the old TV movie The Year Without Santa Claus? Thank goodness The Year Summerfest Saved Christmas was just released today...

Since it feels like summer (well, spring) with temps nearly out of the Freeze Zone, it’s perfect timing that Summerfest officials finally revealed a headliner for this year’s edition.

Make that two headliners. And one that College Boy was especially happy to hear about. So were Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Pop star Halsey and rapper Logic will co-headline Summerfest's American Family Insurance Amphitheater on June 29. Obviously, Logic's appearance is super wonderful news for Carter, his buddies, and any ticketholders to the Dec. 13 show that was canceled due to illness. Rotten luck for those of us who TRIED to give the tickets as Christmas gifts.

Tickets for the new concert set for the day after my birthday – if you haven’t marked your calendar – go on sale January 19. So Santa really needs to be on the ball about this. Well, actually, those disappointed college boys better figure out what they want to do since this is assigned seats – not general admission like the other one. Yes, Mrs. Claus is doing her homework.

If you still don’t know who Logic is…

His anti-suicide anthem "1-800-273-8255," from his Billboard 200-topping 2017 album Everybody, went triple-platinum in the U.S. and is nominated for Song of the Year at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards, airing Jan. 28.

Mrs. Claus did not know that off the top of her head. Or did she? Gotta give her some cool points for keeping tabs on this stuff.

Even for kids who may have transitioned from the Nice List to the Naughty List already. They have until June to set things straight. Mrs. Claus keeps tabs on that, too.
