Groundhog Day :: The April Sequel

I think we can call April 2 the sequel to the February 2 Groundhog Day.  Today, again, was much like the movie – where the day keeps repeating itself. I could've take this same photo every morning this week.

We'll call this the BEFORE. Our wake-up view.

And this is the AFTER. Our late-afternoon view that gives us false hope that spring has really arrived. But then Ol' Man Winter sneaks a visit while we're sleeping. Every. Stinkin'. Day.

So we did spring things today. Priced stuff the garage sale – because that's a definite sign of spring. Then watched the first game of Final Four – definitely a sign we're beyond March. And we'll watch the second one and hope it's closer or more interesting. If not, we'll slip back to college softball on a different station. That sign of spring has me the most excited of all.

Playing here in 3 days – if Mother Nature and Ol' Man Winter can come to terms.

Maybe by the end of the Groundhog movie??
