OK, having baseball games START at 8 p.m. is tough on a school night, well work night.
Just got home and the good news is that our Phillies team won their League game 8-2 over Nekoosa.
The great news is the 90-degree humid weather disappeared and we had a pleasant, breezy evening.
The super great news is that Carter finally cracked his hitting slump. He hit the first time up and made it on due to a fielding error. The second time up, he hit a solid shot to right field. Hurray. Could things finally turn around? Better late than never.
The only bad news -- other than getting less than 7 hours of sleep tonight -- is that books #2 and #3 in the Fifty Shades trilogy arrived today and now I don't have time to read before bed! Looks like my morning commute will be entertaining though!
