'Tis the Gift to be Simple

Kids, as you get older, you'll find out that big Christmas gifts don't matter. You get just as excited for you new $8.97 night-light from Wal-Mart...

...that you'll take pictures of it from multiple angles.

Oh yes, it's the little things that bring us joy. A trendy light AND I can join the club of DIY-ers who did home improvement projects during the pandemic. That. Box. Is. Checked.

Naturally, as all home improvement projects go, it leads to one thing or another with the cash register ringing along the way. (Kids, that's what they used in the olden days before self-checkout with debit cards.) So now we have purchased new lights for the kitchen-dining area. Because cool lights were on the brain.

That will be a different project for a different day. Might need to cling to our '80s special a few days longer. They're conversation starters with the youngsters, you know.

Let there be light and joy in your life this holiday season!
