The Sun Sets on Golf League

The sun was definitely lowering in the sky as we finished our round of golf tonight. A sure sign that summer is just about over – and golf league definitely is.

Our OG team was together for only like the third time this season. Somehow we always had a sub mixed in there for someone. Had a blast and we all golfed just good enough we know we'll be back for more. But probably not until summer. Boo-hoo.

It was a gorgeous evening. Temps were in the mid-70s. The moon showed up on the 9th hole, trying to nudge the sun out of the sky. And this girl had to invent a birdie dance tonight to go along with my usual par dance! Whoo-hoo!

Got home in time to celebrate someone's 18th birthday!

Well in human years she's actually 88! Sylvester is slowing down a bit but just like me on the golf course, she has occasional bursts of energy and dancing. We didn't have to get her a gift. She has everything.

Including our hearts... on the days she's not puking or pooping on carpet! Happy birthday, Princess!
