Another Day at the Office

Now that hubby runs his own company from home, he doesn't do much travel – except from the bedroom down the hall to his office. Today, though, he drove down to Chicago to meet up with one of his business partners.

John just happens to have a family member with season tickets to the Cubs. The Cubs just happened to be playing Jim's Cincinnati Reds at home today. John and Jim just happened to schedule a "business meeting."

Actually, I don't even think they bothered to disguise it!

So hubby is there right now and the Reds, who have lost 20 more games than they've won, are beating the Cubs, who have won 20 more games than they've lost. I hope for Jim's sake the Reds hold on. Anything can happen. What won't happen is that Jim will have anyone there to celebrate with. He wisely did not wear any "Reds attire." You just don't know how fans are going to react on their home turf.

Meanwhile, it was just another day in the office – a real one – for me. Did do another Trigger Point Therapy session over lunch. I think I am healed! I feel sooooo much better.

And meanwhile, poor Sylvester was home all alone on her birthday. For the most part, she probably didn't notice. We can't do much to celebrate since she is not a fan of cat treats of any kind. She just likes her dry cat food and that's it. No wonder I am considered the high maintenance female in the house.

Our girl is 11 years old which, apparently, is 61 in human years. Pretty sure she qualifies for AARP now.... American Association of Retired Pussycats.

We could use a discount on baseball tickets and massages when you get your membership card, kitty!
