Trick? Or Treat?

If the picture above looks familiar, you live in the Midwest. Who hasn't had to wear a snowsuit over or under their costume before? Add even more snow, and you are in southern Wisconsin right now. Meanwhile, my friends in Florida have record heat today.

We got the trick and they got the treat.

Right in the heart of our 5-7 p.m. trick-or-treat hours, this is what we were dealing with in our neck of the woods...

Those words "Real Feel 16 degrees" reflect a serious windchill. It's no wonder we had zero kids. You read that right. Full-size candy bars to give away and we had zero monsters show up.

As for Carter... Platteville bypassed Halloween and went straight for Turkey Day, I guess.

Carter doesn't think they got that much. Maybe a few inches of snow only. But still. It's October!

Anybody entertained yet?

On a positive note, there are full-size Reese's Peanut Butter Cups with my name on them. And I didn't even have to dress up. Happy Halloween to me!
