Germany :: Through the Lens

This is sort of cheating. I don't even know what these pictures are of exactly, but I know they were taken in Germany and Austria. And, without a doubt, I know Carter has an eye for the artistic shot.

Since a picture paints a thousand words, I'll just let a handful of photos speak for themselves... until he gets his report done and I can share more photos and, obviously, more details.

Actually this first one I know. Instead of carving initials on trees, couples put their names or initials on padlocks and lock them on bridges. Carter said it was a common sight there. Interesting.
