Gratitude Challenge Day 14 :: Unique

Today's gratitude challenge is supposed to be like no other. Sort of.

Day 14. Something unique.

I would say experiencing simultaneous seasons is unique. Not so much in Wisconsin and Minnesota, but still it's unusual to see. And even pretty sometimes.

This morning we woke up to this view...

Just a couple inches but definitely shouting "It's winter now!" to us.

And obviously Mr. Deck Chair was shouting too. At me for not putting him away sooner. Not his idea of chilling out on the deck on a Sunday.

Me neither.

But I smiled when I pulled into the church parking lot and saw this tree. Beautiful autumn colors with leaves just starting to fall – even after the snowfall. Winter wasn't burying fall. Fall was sprinkling its confetti on top of winter.

Unusual but pretty.

Also unique today was a Vikings win. And in regulation. That's unusual this season, too! Guess we have to be thankful for unusual gifts – big

I hope something uniquely wonderful happens to you this week!
