Door County Scrapbook

Spent the weekend of June 29-July 1 at our friends Scott and Sandy's place, enjoying southern hospitality in southern Door County. Warning... there were just too many photos to choose from! Enjoy!

Saluting the flag at sunset.

Moon gazing after sunset!

Flower picture... of course!
Saturday golfing took us to the Peninsula State Park Course.

Right along the bay. Lots of pretty views.
This par 3 had quite a drop! We all made it on the green, though!
Totem pole on the course. Not sure what that's about.

There was a bear on top! Fake one.
When water isn't a hazard :)

Another pretty view.
This one's pretty, too. Hey if you can't golf good, you can still look good!
Nice putt... Nice... view!

Everybody has fun in Door County!

Finishing up Saturday golf. But we were not "homeward bound."

Had to stop for a treat first. Sandy and I are getting sassy at the Not Licked Yet ice cream shop.
Viking fans welcome?
Christian Grey was here!
We both read the 50 Shades series so thought this was hilarious!
I hope this means you have to have a shirt, shoes and be a Swede to get served. But they sure make us look goofy!

They do give us VIP parking, though!

Saturday sunset on the bay. Lots of photos. Enjoy watching the color changes as the sun dips down the horizon.

Sunday golf found us at The Orchard of Egg Harbor. Jim and I golfed there several years ago on a Door County weekend. Doesn't hurt to try it again!!
Only water on this course was inland. But still a pretty course.

And the Orchard part was real. Golfing among cherry and apple trees!
Didn't eat any but they sure look good!
Happy anniversary, honey! Great weekend!!
