Tough Battle

I knew our Lady Royals were in for a tough battle tonight. For our sectional bracket, we're ranked number 1 and Edgar's ranked number 2.

We traveled up to Marshfield High School since sectional games are played at neutral sites that are large enough to hold two small towns.

Edgar leaped ahead from the tip-off and it was quite a bit into the second half until Assumption caught up. It was super close 'til the end and Edgar ended up winning by only 2 stinkin' points!

What a heart-breaker!

I'm not ready for this amazing team to hang up their uniforms. Thank you, seniors, for 4 exciting years.

P.S. I'm counting down to softball now!
