The Voice Squared

When I have to use my stern (not necessarily nagging) motherly voice, that's when Carter and Daddy say I am using "The Voice."

You might hear my loving hubby say something like this to the teenager: "You better listen... Mom's using The Voice."

Very funny, right?

Well tonight is a new season of The Voice television show -- the one where judges choose singers for their teams in "blind auditions," strictly on voice talent. I like that.

When Jim checked on Carter during homework, Carter asked what I was watching that was so loud. Daddy says, naturally, "The Voice is watching The Voice."

Ha. I can feel the love. Can you? Good thing I love them just as much as they love me or I'd have to whip out The Voice.

Real good thing.
